After a 2 1/2 week hiatus to return to our office jobs, we are back to working on the boat. While only our first day, Dave's already made progress in getting the refrigerator and freezer insulated in an effort to eliminate the puddles and sweating that frequently appear on the countertop and behind the salon cushions. We are hopeful that the additional insulation will solve the problem.
I returned to the Orthopedic today for a follow up appointment on my arm. In mid-July I slipped and fell on the front deck and fractured it. Today the doctor gave me the all-clear but did indicate that I shouldn't go skateboarding on deck using cardboard as my makeshift skateboard in the future.
More to come.

Baby Steps.....
It is amazing all that needs to happen to cut the line from land. Every day we make a bit more progress in preparation for our voyage. We've changed the address for snail mail. We are in the process of turning off the home phone line and moving to a cell phone. The blog is started - finally. The list of boat to do's and non-boat to do's is long....but we are loving it.
You'd think that with our last days of work - and a paycheck - not far off we'd be in a panic. But we are not. Instead we are excited, and anxious, for what comes next.
